The damp air reaked of the dark days coming. Luna Lovegood shivered as the cool breezxe flew around her, tightening her together, trying to make her less colder then she was at the time being. The Ravenclaw girl still had her Ravenclaw robes on, it was cold on this day, Luna felt stupid for not bringing a cloak or something that provides warmth. Miss. Lovegood was making her way down to the Qudditch pitch, to perhaps think about the future of herself and the rest of the big wizrding world.
The 6th year made her way down the pitch, the wind was stronger then she had hoped, her hair flying everywhere possible. Luna gulped, it seemed nothing was warm and cheery anymore, it seemed nothing would ever be the same as it was before. But Luna knew it never could be the same, Dumbledore was dead, his bright and cheery welcoming smile would never again be seen by Luna Lovegood. Luna rembered well his half-moon spectakles, the sined well with the great hall lights and candals.
The blond haired girl sat down on a seat in the stadium. She rested her chin on her hands, looking at her surrondings, it was sad this pitch would never be as happy as it was before. She missed all the happy times with Harry, Ron, Ginny and Hermione. Would they ever come back? Would Luna ever be happy again? Luna sighed not really wanting to find out the answer that would tell the truth.
[Sorry it's so bad...ermph..]

<haha, it's fine. It's not too bad. ^^>
It was a cold, dark and gloomy day. Harry could feel it, even within the comforts of the Gryffindor common room in front of that roaring fire. The one place he thought he'd always be happy, Hogwarts, had lately turned into a festering playground for death and horrible acts of treachery. The boy couldn't stand it anymore. If he was going to defeat Voldemort, and most likely die in the process, he wasn't going to spend his final year in those darkened halls. It just wasn't really fair. Who had given Tom Riddle the right to make his life so miserable and short?
A deep frown moved over Harry Potter's lips as he stepped through the great oak doors that guarded Hogwarts from all dangers. Once locked to keep Sirius Black on the inside, they now locked to keep the happiness on the out. Well, maybe that was being a bit too dreary. However you wanted to phrase it, there was no denying that Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry lacked the joy it had brought him in his first year. Of course, if he had to pick a place for his final battle, he'd chose those green grounds right in front of him. The castle was his home. His only real home.
The teen shoved his hands into the pockets of his jacket, after running one hastily through that messy mane of his. September was usually cold at Hogwarts, just because of there location. But, today, it seemed...frigged. Step by step, Harry made his way down the hills and pathways that lead one to the Quidditch Pitch. That was, by far, his favorite place amongst Hogwarts. But, even the Pitch was beginning to lose it's life. Quite frankly, it looked a bit like crap. The once perfectly manicured field had become overgrown and slightly dull colored. His frown deepened at this realization, before green eyes wandered aimlessly around the stands. They fell on a heartwarming sight; Luna Lovegood. She was unmistakable, in Harry's opinion. That hair, mostly, long and nearly white. Not to mention the aura that surrounded her. Dreamy and careless. He had always liked that feeling while he was around her. It took most of his worries away. A small smile peaked through Harry Potter's frown as he began to climb the stairs.
Once near her, he searched the empty seats. Why was she there alone?
"What's up, Luna?" he half greeted, half asked. For a moment, he nearly wanted to say 'wotcher', like Tonks had done to him so many times. It seemed to always lighten the mood, however, Harry lacked that certain 'tonksish' feature that made the words sound right coming out of his mouth.

Luna looked at Harry Potter, she felt a but better to be around a friend, being alone was scary now a days. Her gloomy gray eyes perked up abit, Luna thought that was a good sign, or at least better sign then the world had been giving her lately. She knew if she was having a hard time, Harry was living in a nightmare. The Ravenclaw wants it not to happen, she never wanted it to begin. the school, the people, the world was different, not the same. There had always been darkness in the world, but never this much, Luna shivered at thought, what could be worse the Voldemort's return? Was there really anything worse then this terrible, horrible fate?
Luna turned her gaze away from Harry, and returned it to the pitch. " Oh.. Nothing really.." She replied, distractedly. It was hard to know what day he'd attack, when everything was over. But Luna had so much faith in Harry, she didn't even think it could ever happen. The 6th year had more faith in her friends then she had in herself, she knew they'd get by it. Luna felt her hair tickle the back of her kneck, it was cold and tickilish. Ms. Lovegood shivered again.
" What's up with you Harry?" Luna asked him, yet not looking at him.

Honestly, the Gryffindor hadn't expected much more of a reply than what she had given him. Interesting as she was, Luna, she never seemed to talk much. And, when she did, it was always about something completely random that he never quite understood. Harry often wondered what exactly went on inside her mind, but would soon find himself facing a throbbing headache at the mere thought. She was complex, much more than many of his other friends. Maybe that's what made her fun to be around. Though, it did often turn out slightly awkward, because one wouldn't have the faintest clue as to what she was actually saying. Harry nodded his head in an understanding way, before looking around once more.
The teen noticed his blonde friend shiver from the cold. She wasn't covered up well at all for this weather. Perhaps another of the Ravenclaw girls had stolen one of her cloaks again. What a pain that must have been. Harry shuffled in his spot slightly, slipping out of his own jacket in four or so jerking motions. Both hands wrapped around his coat as the boy inched his way toward Luna. "Here..." said Harry, resting the article of clothing around the sixth year's slender shoulders. He mustered a small smile as he backed away from his slightly intrusive positioning.
His now thinly covered shoulders moved up and down in a small shrug as she launched his question right back. Frankly, nothing at all was up. Harry glanced upward stupidly for a moment, as if checking the goings on in the sky. Nothing at all was going on up there. Just a thick layer of gray, dreary clouds. "Nothing." He said, bringing those emerald eyes back to her, an undeceive expression pasting itself to the seventeen year-old's face.

Luna felt the strong air whisk pass her, then felt a warm item apo her thin, cold shoulders. She looked at Harry, expecting the reply she had got. It seemed so different now with Harry, she was sixteen, not the dopey little 15 year old she was before, she ha changed so much since her 1st year at Hogwarts, from a freaky little kid she turned into someone she never expected, Luna 'Loony' Lovegood had friends, good friends. It felt great to have friends, but knowing one might die everyday, never coming back to see her, it pained her inside.
Luna's hair tickled her kneck again, the cold day seemed long and never ending. The Ravenclaw nodded her thanks to Harry with a smile aswell. She didn't fell like saying anything, it was too hard to think of what to say. She could always say something about the Narguls, but she didn't really think she should bring them into the conversation. The strange girl sighed, it was now quiet excep or the wind wooshing past the leaves, the wind also made a strange noise.
Luna looked at Harry, perhaps he had a conversation topic in mind?

That same soft smile still lingered on Harry Potter's face as the Ravenclaw girl's mouth split into a thankful smile. It was nice seeing Luna happy, really. Her optimism was something that he loved about her. No matter what, Luna Lovegood had always managed to see the brighter side of things, always believing in him and making him feel confident. Even if he was to die fighting off Voldemort, he knew that some good would come of it with Luna still around. She'd always think highly of him, even in death, and make his memory something worth while and not just the tragic story of an attention seeking Gryffindor doomed to some horrible fate. What? Luna was the optimistic one, not Harry.
She didn't seem in a very talkative mood today though, which was fine with him. He'd pry it out of her, of course. "Mind if I sit down?" he questioned hopefully, grinning at the blonde while he gestured his head toward the seat next to Ms. Lovegood. A day with Luna was what he needed. She always had been able to make him feel better, and he loved it. Ron and Hermione could be such downers sometimes, but Luna always managed to have some dreamy approach to things, and despite her Ravenclaw colors, they were rarely over-logical and boring. The girl was definitely different from when he met her, though. When she was fourteen, Luna had been quite the oddity, and frankly, Harry was a bit afraid of her. But now...now was...different. In an odd, confusing way that made Harry question himself.
"What are you doing out here all alone, anyway? Did somebody steal something of yours again?" Somebody always did you know, and though Luna had often found it rather amusing, Harry figured it could grow old rather easily. He would help her find whatever it was, of course, because...he could...
