Walked out of the castle's front doors, Ginny moved a strand of hair out of her eye's view. She blinked a few times as the sun hit her now clear eyes and looked out towards the castle's lawns. No one was there. That much better for her.

She didn't really feel like to talking to anyone at the moment. It just seemed to...surreal. Being back for another year at Hogwarts with Voldemort on the loose and Dumbledore dead. It just seemed so weird. Snape killing Dumbledore then becoming Headmaster. The world didn't seem right anymore.

Ginny looked down at the ground as she walked to the middle of no where. Alright, so maybe it was the lawns, but it was only that. Lawns for miles. Or at least as far as Ginny's eyes could see.

She gave a short sigh at the memories of last year. Had it not been for Harry's Felix potion she, Luna, Neville, Ron and Hermione would all probably be dead. Snape killed Dumbledore, Voldemort took over the Ministry, and Snape was named Headmaster of Hogwarts. Who apart from Voldemort was stupid enough to do that? Now that Voldemort was in power weird things were happening. People were disappearing, more muggles were dying, the world was becoming dangerous. There wasn't a single safe place left in it.

Lilian stepped out of the castle, rubbing her cut up hands together. Those punishments were getting crueler every time a student went in. Plants can be vicious, especially when you knew nothing about them. She was forced to uproot these horrible plants, they had quills everywhere and every time you went near it they would stab you and scrape your hands up. No wonder those things were locked up, it wouldn't have been so bad if she had been wearing something over her hands, but this was a punishment so she had to use her bare hands, and it was in the dark so she really didn't know what she was doing except from the little light that emitted from her wand.

She glared at her hands, they didn't even really let her fix them up, she was sent back into the castle, then yelled at continuously by another teacher for being outside after curfew. This school was not fair anymore. She didn't really know where she was going, she just needed to get out of the castle, and away from the taunting Slytherins or the annoying teacher, everyone seemed to be sitting on the edge of their seats these days, watching their backs.

She spotted a girl up ahead, she had seen her around school a few times, they were in the same year, but different houses. Lily had never actually spoken to the girl, but she had heard of her a few times, especially at the end of her second year, being taken into the chamber and all sprouts many rumors. "Hello," she when she got close enough. Lily was usually the quiet type so going up to people and talking was sort of new to her.

Little Pixie Lewis bolted down the stairs, her eyes looked behind her she could see the flash of green robes just behind her. Now normally Pixie was never in a rush to get anywhere, but right now she was hoping to dive into a trashcan (if there was any) to just escape the person chasing her. She stumbled around a corner, her breath was short since she had been running for a bit now. Pixie had made the grand mistake to say something to a Slytherin and now they were giving chasing, under any normal circumstance she would have hexed the kid but things at Hogwarts had changed. She looked around and noticed a tight small space and she dove into it, yes Pixie was small enough to fit and she was thankful for it. Pixie peaked out her tiny head and noticed he had disappeared and she made a mad dash for the outside of the castle, as she walked her eyes darted back and her hand rested on her wand. The school was no longer safe and this scared Pixie, she finally made it to the entrance hall. She hadn’t realized how close she had been to the ground floor till she trotted down the stairs, and found herself in a crowd of people.

Pixie peaked her head outside and her face was bathe in sunlight, she then stepped all the way outside. It was an amazing day, she not realized it in the huff of the chase. She walked down the main steps and headed out towards the lawns, she thought the day was perfect even though she didn’t want to burn. Pixie walked slowly her eyes looked around, just to make sure she wasn’t being followed. She figured she must have looked paranoid, but in this day and age looking like Mad-Eye Moody wasn’t a bad thing. Pixie walked a bit quicker, because she noticed some Slytherin talking amongst themselves so she wanted to avoid anymore conflict.

She noticed Ginny Weasley at the lake and one other person, a girl she had never met. Pixie knew Ginny but not that well being that she was a year younger than her, so she decided to talk to her and she may as well make friends. Pixie skipped up to them her blonde hair bouncing as she did, since she was suddenly feeling happy even after almost being killed. She was odd her moods never were a certain way they just changed depending on the place she was in and outside made her happy. Pixie stopped and smiled at both of them “Hey” she said in a cheery tone.

Still standing quite still, Ginny looked over at the black lake, not extremely far away from where she was. She had absolutly no intention of going for a swim of course. The lake was a bit too cold for her liking. She liked being outside when it was nice and warm, like at the moment. Without really knowing what she was doing, Ginny tugged slightly on her left robe sleeve, which arrived at about her elbow. Everyone who knew Ginny knew that these robes weren't made that way. They were supposed to be full-lenght, but since her mum had simply refused to buy her some new ones, and by the time Ginny had proved to her that her robes were too short it was too late to go back to Diagon Alley. At least to those who didn't know her they seemed perfectly alright.

"Hello," she heard fron behind her. She turned around to see Lilian, a Ravenclaw girl in her year. She had never really spoken to Lilian, though they said hi and shared some notes a few times when Ginny was in trouble and needed to study something she didn't have. "Hello Lillian. Or would you rather Lily?" Ginny asked with a small smile. She knew how some people hated their birth names. Ginny was one of them. Ginevra wasn't exactly one of her favourite names. She liked Ginny, or Gin better.

“Hey” she heard again from near Lillian. This time it was a Gryffindor student. Ginny knew her name was Pixie and that she was in Ron and Hermione's year. "Hello Pixie. you sound happy." Ginny said looking at Pixie. Pixie had said hey in a rather cheerful voice. She looked cheerful too. One of the very few times Ginny had seen her that way. Maybe it was just Gin's timing. Maybe she kept on missing Pixie in a good mood.

"Lily's fine," she said with a smile, the only people that called her Lilian anymore were teachers and her parents when they were really pissed off about something, but her parents often used her full name. Lily had always known Ginny as Ginny, she didn't even know her birth name, but that was fine with her.

Lily turned around hearing someone else speak, she turned to see a Gryffindor girl skipping up to them happily. She guessed Pixie was her name, it suited her very well, despite how unsual that name was, she seemed to be a very happy kid. Or maybe that's just because she was in a good mood? Eh, it wasn't any of Lily's buisness.

"'Ello, I'm Lily," she said, deciding to introduce herself, which again was very unlike how she usually is, she usually waited for the other person to introduce themselves first. But that got boring especially when you're dealing with arrogant students that only like to brag about their grades when you're trying to write an essay for Potions, obviously this happened not too long ago, she should have never let them sit down with her.

Pixie’s smile was abnormal for someone who almost just got the snot beat out of her or worse, Pixie looked at the Ravenclaw girl which she had never really met. All she had caught from standing there was that her name was Lilian who possibly preferred Lily, most people she knew didn’t like they’re full names just nicknames. Pixie had never really had that problem since she had a really unique name, the most you could get from Pixie was Pix and that was one nickname she didn’t mind. She slowly rolled her lip rings back and forth waiting for Ginny to look up at her, or for Lily to look over. Pixie was pretty quiet till someone spoke to her, she wasn’t rude nor was she the center of attention; well not verbally her outfits and hair was something different.

She looked over at Ginny who made a note to her good mood “Yeah I guess, even though the school is going to the dogs” she replied looking over at the Slytherins close to them she didn’t feel like running away again. This whole thing with Snape running the school and crap was becoming horrible and she was sure that they knew about this, so there was no need for her to get all cranky and tell them about it. So little Pixie stood there her eyes fixed on Ginny’s fiery red hair, maybe she should get some red in her hair. Pixie’s mind was drifting which was never a good thing. Pixie’s eye darted to the other girl who introduced herself and smiled at her “Nice to meet you, I’m Pixie” she replied looking at the girl and then back to Ginny. “So what have you girls been up to lately?” she asked taking a seat on the ground and looking over at Lily and Ginny.

{Sorry it’s so short and so late}
